Houston Dog Photographer – Berlin

As a photographer in Houston, I've worked with clients and their dogs before but Berlin is the first dog that I've ever lived with. After not growing up with dogs, I was content to never own one. Then I met Cristina. After growing up with dogs she was going to have a dog. Cristina started at zero percent when we first started getting serious. She also lived in her own apartment. From there she sent me every piece of information she found on the benefits of dog ownership. Longer, healthier and happier life didn't seem possible. Not because life was so great (it wasn't bad) but I could not see how adding a furry animal that lives in the house could add any benefit to my life. Low and behold, zero percent turned in to 50% then I found myself in a car driving to Brownsville to pick up a dog that I already really liked from the photos on Facebook. Over the next 2 years, I've become closer to Berlin than I could have known was possible. It's one of those things that you only "get" once you own a dog. She's such a big part of our lives that she sleeps in the bed between Cristina and I. I've completely turned into the annoying dog parent that used to give eye rolls.

In addition to gaining a great girlfriend and dog, I've also been opened to the world of dog photography. With Millennial's having fewer children and more dogs, now is a great time to expand my product offerings.
