Houston Youth Lacrosse Spring Tournament Finale – Asher

As a parent, there are few things more rewarding than watching your child grow up and develop a passion for something they love. For me, that passion is lacrosse, and my son Asher has been playing on a traveling youth team for the past few years. As someone who played football growing up, I'm thrilled that Asher has found a physical game that is not quite as hard on the body. But more than that, I'm proud to see him develop skills like teamwork, hard work, and competition through his love of lacrosse.

Last weekend, I captured some great photos of the last tournament of the Spring 2023 lacrosse season. As I looked through the pictures, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in how far Asher has come. When he first started playing, he struggled to catch and throw the ball, but now he's one of the best players on his team.
